Method
- Preheat the oven to 190°C (375°F). Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
- Blend the cottage cheese until smooth.
- In a bowl, mix blended cottage cheese with self-rising flour to form a dough.

- Divide the dough into 4 equal pieces.
- Roll each piece into a rope and shape into a bagel.

- Place bagels on the prepared tray.
- Brush with beaten egg and sprinkle with seasoning if using.
- Bake for 22–25 minutes until golden brown.
- Cool slightly before slicing and serving.
Notes
- Add sesame or poppy seeds for variety.
- Use full-fat cottage cheese for the best texture.
- Great toasted with cream cheese, avocado, or smoked salmon.
