- Place the cereal in a large mixing bowl and set aside.
- Melt the chocolate chips, peanut butter, and butter together in the microwave (30-second intervals), stirring until smooth.
- Stir in the vanilla extract.
- Pour the chocolate mixture over the cereal and gently toss until evenly coated.
- Transfer the coated cereal to a large zip-top bag.
- Add the powdered sugar, seal the bag, and shake until fully coated.
- Spread the Puppy Chow onto parchment paper and let it cool.
- Serve or store in an airtight container.

Notes
- Use dark chocolate for a less sweet version.
- Swap peanut butter with almond butter if needed.
